ADVANCED ACTIVE SHOOTER TRAINING (PRIVATE SECTOR SECURITY COURSE):

Our customizable two-day program is designed to take your basic training to the next level. Our comprehensive training covers a variety of targeted mass violence prevention, intervention, and mitigation strategies that include a multi-disciplinary approach. Our team encourages the prevention of targeted mass violence through collaborations with public safety personnel and community stakeholders.

Participants in the program include schools, businesses, corporations, first responders, dispatchers, medical staff, community partners, mental health authorities, county, state, and federal agencies, behavioral health professionals, and other partners. We address risk management, threat assessment/management, and site security strategies to identify potential locations where targeted mass casualty incidents could occur.

Our students conduct tabletop exercises, mechanical breaching exercises, basic incident command, bleed control training, direct-to-threat tactics, medical triage and linkup, rescue/extraction, exterior security measures, crisis communications, and reunification training. The course includes several hands-on exercises through reality-based training in real-world conditions using a variety of training aids including the “Stress Vest” training system and “Bleed Control” training aids. NOTE: This course is currently only available to private sector security agencies and law enforcement agencies outside of Texas.
